Bhairabi Club a Voluntary organisation formed by a group of eminent social activist, educationist in an around of Kurumpada village of Khurda district of Orissa. Over time Bhairabi Club has emerged as a leading non-Governmental Organisation in Orissa having gained unique experience and expertise in welfare and developmental sector. Bhairabi Club Challenges and responds to the causes and consequences at human suffering and poverty with a commitment to Justice and dignity for all.
It has established confidence among the people and improved the quality of humanitarian services. This organisation challenges and responds to the causes and consequences of human suffering and poverty with a commitment to Justice and dignity for all. Adequate trained staffs, technical expertise and volunteer have been continuously working in the remote areas and Shelter/ Homes to improve the living status and life styles of the deprived people. It encompasses a wide spectrum of services catering to all age ranging at levels.
Bhairabi Club has been implementing welfare and development programme for the upliftment of down trodden, rural community, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, marginalized and vulnerable group i.e. Women and Children, Persons With Disabilities, Other Backward Classes, Minorities, Senior citizens and Drug Addicts. Besides the welfare and development, research and documentation, it has gone out of its way and reach out of the people during natural, man made and calamities such as Flood, Cyclones, Earth Quake, Drought, Fire, War and in-violence.
MANDATE :-
The Mandate of the institution is to provide institutional and community based services for the deprived & marginalized people for their upliftment and full participation in the Society by its value based Vision, Clarity and Quality. Implementation, review and evaluation of welfare & developmental programmes/ Project. The key sectors of intervention are Capacity building, Awareness and Education Training, Welfare & developmental action. i.e.
The Key Sector of intervention are Capacity Building, Awareness and Education, Welfare and Development i.e. Health, Agriculture, Income generation, Savings and Credit, gender, Environment and Self-reliance. Empowerment of disadvantages community and enhance their quality life.
APPROACH :-
The attitude of rural poor, their lack of awareness, age old customs and taboos, prevailing socio-economic and structural evils. The macro and micro society have a direct impact on the life of the people and the community.
Since its inception Bhairabi Club has gives top priority to the people oriented planning and execution process of different welfare and developmental activities. It works through process of awareness, education, reflection, motivation and action leading self-sustainable people organisation Self-Help Group where people are the ultimate custodian of the community research and the developmental in puts for all round development.
LEGAL STATUS :-
This organisation has been registered under Indian Societies Registration Act. XXI of 1860, Foreign Contribution Regulation Act1976 and Registered under income tax Act. of 12G. This organisation is registered under PWD Act. 1995 and National Trust Act.
AREA OF OPERATION :-
The area of operation of Bhairabi Club is whole State of Orissa. But presently this organisation has working in Khurda, Nayagarh, Boudh and Ganjam district of Orissa.
